A friend forwarded this on to me. We all had a good laugh.
Enjoy!

Trevills
Okay, I know I shouldn't think these two pictures are funny, but I just can't help giggle. I swear I didn't have anything to do with these crazy nuts.
Neeley has found GREAT joy in stuffing her shirts and dresses with toilet paper. She calls them her trevills. We have racked our brain trying to figure out where she came up with the word trevills, but we can only just chalk it up to another classic "neeley-ism." She has become OBSESSED with this new figure ever since she realized that Belle has trevills too. Needless to say, we have had a lot of conversations about anatomy and correct grammar but something tells me that the last thing we need to worry about in our house is correct grammar.
I walked into West's bedroom the other day and found him like this. Neeley obviously got to him before I did.

Happy Birthday Candyland!
60 years old! Lombard Street in San Francisco was turned into a giant Candyland gameboard yesterday to mark the occasion. Lombard street is famous for having a steep, one-block section that consist of tight, hairpin turns. Tristen and I visited it a few years back, but never attempted to push the stroller up it.
The cake below was made by a company called Debbie Designs Cakes in Oakland. I wish I had that kind of talent!

Can't forget

Happy weekend!
A few things that made me smile this week:
New fabric at Ikea! I grabed a few yards of the big striped green and navy fabrics and made myself two new tablecloths!

Okay Ryan, you are forgiven.

And of course, I couldn't let this picture pass us by. LOVED this picture of my three little crazies. Crazy nuts.

This is a great video. It's been out for about a year now, but I found it this week and love it.
Ryan bought me Scrabble this week after he got tired of sharing his Blackberry. I LOVE playing the word mole game on his phone and have drained his battery more than once. He got me this instead. We are slightly obsessed with it now. Scrabble anyone? If you dare...

GREAT journaling
I went to a journaling class a few years back and I was so impressed at one woman's journals. They looked like a piece of art full of doodles and pictures! Being notoriously awful at any kind of journaling, I was inspired to start my own. Of course, I wrote two lines and never looked at it again.
When you travel, how do you catalog your memories? Take photos... write in a notebook... keep tickets, blog? I LOVED these journal entries.

Passing the torch
Okay, we've decided to keep blogging, but Ryan's passed the torch to me. Happily, I report that all is well here. We can't believe the summer is over and school starts on Monday! It reminds me of the old Staples commercial with the joyous father shopping for back to school supplies and the background music is "it's the most wonderful time of the year..." Yeah, we're all ready.
