Luck be a lady tonight!

For Christmas, my grandma gave all of her female Phoenix family members tickets to Guys and Dolls. Easter weekend we all got together and saw the show! What a fun day with some pretty fun ladies.
During intermission we tried to take a decent picture. Kids and moms kept having to run to the bathroom, but this was the most complete picture we took.

Again, not a great picture, but the girl who played Adelaide was so darling! We've all been doing our best Adelaide accents but ours certainly doesn't compare to hers! Well Done!

Hero Day at School

This post is for my Father in Law who understands that the love of/admiration to/desire to watch professional football is completely lost on us.

For Hero Day at school, Saadiya's uncle, Ben Patrick came and visited Hattie's class. They read books together, made a cheer together and he talked about why it is important to have character.

Reverent Easter

Ryan, Ben, Gunnar, McKay and David may or may not have spent Easter evening launching cans of pop into South Mountain Preserve. I'm sure many people (including forrest rangers) would not approve.

And Jasey and I may or may not have been giggling witnesses.

Ben to Ryan: I don't think your bike helmet is going to offer you a lot of protection.
Ryan to Ben: Neither will your Lacrosse helmet with the face mask dangling!

How Folding Laundry Ends at Our House

Horseback riding!

Forgive me while I still try to catch up on my blogging. I think I'm about a month behind.

While in California, we always go horseback riding with mom. Hattie is a natural and has been doing it since she was itty bitty. In the past, Neeley has always been a little hesitant. However, this time she was the first one on and the first one combing Topaz. I was so proud of her!

Kyle's idea of "babysitting".

Westy didn't even blink an eye when we put him on. In fact, he was more interested in the horse's carrot than the horse himself.
