Since my sister and her three kids left after a three week visit, I have done a lot of thinking. My house has grown quieter, somewhat cleaner, and our life has fallen back into our normal rhythm. Now normally, this would be a good thing, but the Secrist family is having a hard time adjusting. We are going through sister and cousin withdraw.
We are really missing...

We have neighbor friends who are sisters and are about 13 and 16 years old. I watch them everyday go to the bus stop and never say a word to each other. They never talk, they never walk together, they don't even acknowledge the other. This breaks my heart. Sisters are supposed to take care of each other, watch out for the other and be each other's support and best friends. Ryan mentioned to me the other day that he never sees me giggle so much as when my sisters are around. We wish we could have had Tenille around to enjoy the full sistership but...she's busy doting on Remington. ;)
Sniff, sniff....I miss my sister. Come back??

My heart aches to be with you guys! It looks like so much fun! I can't wait for the time when I'm able to join you when fun things like this happen! Love you, love your family, miss you like crazy!
Aw.... this is the sweetest thing... except that you forgot to mention the 2 tons of your Halloween candy I downed all by myself. I'll probably always associate your house with Reeses PeanutButter cups. YUM. But seriously, that was waaay fun. We've had withdrawals also, and we're here at one of our other favorite places! Thanks again for having us!
